Ward was the earliest daughter born in MonroeLouisiana, on the 15th of April 1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. Ward was a student at Ouachita high school in the parish for secondary education. Then she transferred to River Oaks High School the season following her senior year. Following her graduation, she went to Northeast Louisiana University. Ward began modeling when she was thirteen. She left school in order to relocate to New York. The beginning of her acting career came a few more years afterward. In the 1970s, she was a part-time actress with no credit on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she was cast in a role that lasted only a few minutes in NBC's prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, she was in the role as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. The year 1999 saw Ward begin her acting career in films as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic film The In Crowd. Although the movie failed to be a success in theaters but it made a splash on cable television and DVD. Ward had a role as a backup on the show Shallow Hal the following year. Apart from her direct-to-DVD roles, Ward also made many guest appearances in TV shows like Friends. She was a main part of the cast of ABC Family's drama series Make It or Break It in the beginning of its two seasons of 2009. She appeared on the show in 2009 and got the role of Chloe Kmet as the mother of a gymna who is a teenager. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. The couple was blessed with a son who was named Cameron.
